Biden Orders Businesses To Vaccinate Or Face Dire Consequences!

Biden orders businesses to vaccinate their employees. His message to the tens of millions of unvaccinated Americans, delivered at the White House: “We’ve been patient but our patience is wearing thin, and your refusal has cost all of us, “he added, all but choking on his words.

The unvaccinated minority “can cause a lot of damage, and they are.”

President Biden announced sweeping federal COVID-19 steps affecting upwards of 100 million Americans—private-sector employees, health care workers, and federal contractors—to get vaccinated or face weekly testing in an all-out effort to contain the COVID-19 delta variant’s rapid spread.

The new steps, including a mandatory vaccination mandate for millions of federal workers, come as Mr. Biden faces mounting pressure to address an outbreak.

More than 650,000 people in the United States have died due to Covid-19, with hospitals at capacity.

The president had promised a “summer of freedom,” independence of sorts from the virus, but the Delta variant has instead spread like wildfire.

In a speech at the White House, Mr. Biden directed the US Department of Labor to compel all private businesses with 100 or more employees to mandate the jab or give documentation of a negative Covid test from employees at least once a week.

Biden’s order to businesses to vaccinate will affect around 80 million workers.

“This is not about personal freedom or choice; this is about protecting yourself and those around you,” he said as he outlined the six-point plan.

He added that about 17 million other healthcare workers who work in facilities that receive federal funds would be subject to the same requirements.

The time is passed for sweet-talking and persuading Americans to take the Covid-19 vaccine. The time has come for government mandates.

That was Joe Biden’s direct message to the nation on Thursday afternoon. While the majority of Americans have received at least one vaccine, the president laid the blame for the country’s enduring health crises squarely on the shoulders of the 25% of the population who are unvaccinated and the politicians who, he claimed, were “actively working to undermine the fight.”

Mr. Biden stated that his new vaccine orders are not about freedom or personal choice, yet that is precisely how some Americans would interpret them—as a forced choice between vaccination and job security. And, while the mandates will boost the number of vaccinated Americans, they will also aggravate an already tense political debate.

In July, Mr. Biden delivered a bullish address, stating that Americans would soon declare their “independence” from the virus. Due to the Delta variant, that day of independence has been stalled. This has had a detrimental turn on the US economy and mainstream perceptions of the president’s response to the pandemic. This is Mr. Biden’s attempt to turn the political landscape through the application of government force.

The president’s proposal makes extensive use of his administrative authority to mandate vaccination for unvaccinated Americans.

Several of his efforts address prevalent concerns among Americans who have not yet received the vaccination, such as the wish to avoid missing work to receive the vaccine or recuperate from its adverse effects.

The president stated that Osha-the Occupational Safety and Health Administration would reveal requirements for large businesses to provide paid time off for workers to get vaccinated in the coming weeks.

Businesses that violate the new rules may face fines of thousands of dollars for each infringement.

A separate federal mandate, which the White House estimates will affect 2.5 million government workers, trumps Mr. Biden’s prior order allowing government workers to undergo regular testing if they choose not to be vaccinated. Now, workers who refuse the jab risk being sacked.

Approximately two-thirds of all US workers must now be vaccinated under the new requirement.

Thousands of largely unvaccinated Americans continue to die each week, and nearly 80 million Americans remain unvaccinated, undermining Mr. Biden’s confidence that an effective pandemic response would enhance Democratic presidential support.

Other rules that Biden orders businesses to vaccinate include:

• Fines for passengers who refuse to wear masks on planes will be doubled.

• Using the Defense Production Act to expedite the development of at-home rapid-testing kits

• Deploying healthcare workers to areas where there is an increase in

• Increasing the frequency with which free monoclonal antibody treatment is delivered to hospitals.

The plan immediately sparked outrage among some Republicans, who claimed that the government should stay out of individuals’ health decisions.

The Status of Covid & Vaccines

Despite the Delta-spurred spike, mortality is lower in the majority of places than it was last winter. However, several areas with low vaccination rates recently registered their highest infection rates on record.

Even with the Delta variant, the path ahead is not nearly as awful as it was last winter, Mr. Biden said during Thursday’s remarks.

“What’s so infuriating is that a distinct minority of Americans is preventing us from turning the corner.”

According to CDC-the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in the United States, 64% of adult Americans are completely vaccinated. Over 75% have received their first dose of the Covid-19 vaccine.
